The rapid virus A/B test is an in vitro diagnostic device (IVD) for professional use designed to detect antigens (nucleoproteins) of Flu-viruses type A and B in respiratory samples collected via nasal swab. The kit enables the identification of the main subtypes of Flu-A regardless of the surface H and N proteins.
Provides rapid results, is easy to perform, and does not require complex laboratory instrumentation. The kit includes a test device, sterile nasal swab, test tube, and extraction buffer, allowing point-of-care execution in hospital, outpatient, and diagnostic laboratory settings; suitable for use in emergency departments, primary care, and screening units.
Indications: professional use only. Intended for hospitals, outpatient clinics, clinical laboratories, and community care facilities for the rapid identification of influenza infections and support for clinical decision-making in patient management.
Pack of 10 kits.
