Endogyn is a single-use sterile medical device designed for endometrial sampling for cytological purposes. It allows for rapid and minimally traumatic endometrial sampling, avoiding the need for cervical dilation or traction on the cervix.
The design with a sliding outer sheath and two “V”-shaped opening arms with thin serrations ensures excellent tissue removal and retention capabilities of the endometrial tissue. The hemispherical tip of one of the arms, reinserted into the sheath, facilitates the aspiration of the previously removed material, improving sample recovery for cytological examination.
Main indications: endometrial sampling for cytological examinations and screening. Areas of use: hospital gynecology departments, specialized outpatient clinics, gynecology offices, and cytology laboratories. The device is intended for qualified healthcare professionals (gynecologists, midwives, and laboratory personnel) who are adequately trained.
Hystrometry can be estimated using the references placed at 3, 6, and 9 cm along the sheath, useful for assessing insertion depth. As a sterile single-use device, it must be used according to aseptic procedures and disposed of in appropriate containers for medical waste at the end of the procedure.
Box of 25 pieces, individually wrapped.
