The plastic tongue depressor is a single-use device designed for oropharyngeal inspection and examination. Made from translucent polystyrene with a curved shape and smooth edges, it is dual-ended: one end measures 15 mm (paediatric) and the other 20 mm (adult), with an overall length of 150 mm.

Clinical Advantages

The curvature of the device allows for a better view of the oral cavity, preventing the operator's hand from obstructing the field of vision during the examination. As a single-use item and free from latex and PVC, it reduces the risk of cross-contamination and allergic reactions associated with latex.

Indicated for use in clinics, medical offices, hospital departments (including emergency rooms and ENT fields), pediatric settings, and all healthcare facilities where a single-use tongue depressor is required for oral cavity examination.
