The UP-D898MD printer is the successor to the renowned series of Sony medical printers UP-897. With a new design and advanced features, it offers numerous improvements from both operational and ergonomic perspectives, all within the same compact format that can be easily integrated into medical carts. Operational efficiency has been further enhanced with a larger LCD display panel and the inclusion of a joystick for intuitive menu navigation.

The device is capable of printing high-quality monochrome images in less than two seconds. Advanced thermal printing technology provides photographic-quality images using readily available printing media on the market.

An exclusive Sony technology allows the paper to be cut in two directions - both upwards and downwards - since a lower cutter has been added in addition to the conventional upper cutter. This offers the flexibility to install the printer in almost any position and ensures smooth printing operations.
