General information

100% silicone tube for external medical use, transparent and odorless, produced by GIMA. Designed for surgical, outpatient, and suction/oxygen therapy support applications where a durable and biocompatible medical tube is required.

The tube is sterilizable in an autoclave (135°C, 2.2-2.5 bar) and by gamma rays; it is resistant to air up to 200°C. Vulcanization occurs via infrared radiation, and the material is thermally treated (10 h at 200°C) to improve surface characteristics and reduce adherence and encrustation.

Main advantages

High-quality HTV material (HTV-R-401/60 E - WACKER) with good hardness and mechanical resistance; non-stick surface that reduces encrustation and coagulation; excellent elasticity and tensile strength. Suitable for repeated sterilization procedures required in hospital and outpatient settings.

Usage indications

Tubing for external suction and drainage, connections in non-invasive medical circuits, applications in operating rooms, outpatient clinics, inpatient departments, and use in home care facilities where sterilizable material is required.

Compliance and regulatory references

FDA 177.2600, European Pharmacopeia, US Pharmacopeia XXI, DIN 58367 / DIN 58362 / DIN 13098, BGA XV part A/B, BGA IX part B.

Minimum order: one roll of 30 meters.

Standard equipment

Pack of 1 roll of 30 meters.
