General information

The BiPAP R200 is a sleep therapy system. It is a non-invasive ventilation device intended for the treatment of sleep-related respiratory disorders through positive pressure modes (CPAP/BiPAP/APAP and basic ventilatory support modes).

Clinical Benefits

Equipped with a color LCD display and real-time monitoring, the R200 allows for easy and quick setup and control of ventilatory parameters. The wide range of modes (CPAP, APAP, S, S/T, T) makes it adaptable to different patient profiles both in home settings and in outpatient and low-intensity hospital wards. The LeRes-Control algorithm enhances ventilatory comfort and patient-machine synchronization.

Relevant Technological Features

The system integrates intelligent humidification control with water preheating to provide comfortable humidity from startup while reducing condensation in the circuit. There is an advanced event detection feature (OA, CA, Hibernation/Central Apnea, RERA, snoring, PB, LL, and other respiratory events), useful for clinical assessment and therapeutic follow-up.

Areas of Use

Indications for use: home therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), non-invasive ventilatory support in outpatient settings and low-intensity hospital wards for patients needing positive pressure ventilation. Suitable for sleep centers, polysomnographic studies, and home use with a medical prescription.
