Bionix Lighted Ear Curettes combine illumination and magnification to help healthcare professionals spend less time seeing and safely removing ear wax from the ear canal.
The problem
Ear curettage requires three hands. One hand to support the head and straighten the ear canal, one to maneuver a curette and one to position a light to avoid blind digging.
The solution
The Lighted Ear Curette with magnification brightly illuminates the ear canal eliminating the practice of blind curetting.

The 50 lighted safe ear curettes are:
• 8 White FlexLoop Safe Ear Curettes: is an all purpose curette designed for normal curettage. 4mm tip.
• 7 Blue InfantScoop Safe Ear Curettes: is designed for smaller ears and may be used through an otoscope. 2mm tip.
• 7 Green MicroLoop Safe Ear Curettes: is more rigid in construction and is designed to remove tough, impacted cerumen. 3mm tip.
• 7 Purple VersaLoop Safe Ear Curettes: has a smooth flexible tip that gives the user exceptional control while offering the patient more comfort. 3mm tip
• 7 Yellow CeraSpoon Safe Ear Curettes: is perfect for software wax, especially in patients who produce excessive amounts of cerumen. 4mm tip.
• 7 Red AngleLoop Safe Ear Curettes: has an angled tip that facilitates reaching the hard-to-get, tough cerumen common in older patients. 4mm tip.
• 7 Orange ControlLoop Safe Ear Curettes: has a bent "Shapleigh" style tip that allows the wax to be pulled straight out of the ear canal. 4mm tip.
The Kit contains also the lighted articulating safe ear curette: the only lighted curette that articulates to assist in the removal of cerumen from the ear canal. It works because of the unique hinged design. Once positioned beyond an obstructive cerumen plug or foreign body, usually through a space between the ear canal wall and occlusion, the tip can be articulated by simply sliding the thumb toward the light source.
