This needle destroyer generates a temperature of 1,000C,hot enough to destroy stainless steel and all known bacteria/viruses. It fuses in 1-2 seconds needles up to a diameter of 1.2 mm. and with some more seconds needles up to 1.6 mm.
It is safe for nurses, doctors, cleaning staff and patients. Most of accidents by sticks with needles takes place in the following circumstances that are avoided by use of needle destroyer: placing the needle in its protective sheath, discarding a needle from a used syringe, carrying hospital residues. Destroyed needle material is sterilized and stored in a drawer in the base of the unit.
