3M™ Tegaderm™ Absorbent is a transparent acrylic dressing, with polyurethane film coating, suitable for partial or thick dermal ulcers, including pressure ulcers, superficial wounds, abrasions, first and second degree burns and donor sites.

• Transparent to allow constant monitoring of the wound, exudation and skin without removal, thus reducing the number of changes
• The film in contact with the wound surface is perforated, so that the swab can absorb the wound exudate
• Polyurethane film coating makes the dressing impermeable to liquids and external contamination (including HiV-1 and HbV)
• Also suitable for use as protection on skin that is at risk, healthy or begins to show signs of damage due to friction or shear forces
• Does not release residues into the lesion bed
