Hydrosorb^® Gel by Hartmann is a sterile, transparent, and viscous electrolyte gel designed to immediately create a moist and balanced wound environment. It is indicated for the moist treatment of superficial and deep wounds with low exudation.

Clinical Benefits

The gel softens dry and necrotic tissues, facilitates the detachment of devitalized tissue, and supports endogenous debridement. Additionally, it absorbs moisture and exudate from minimally draining wounds, helping to maintain the wound bed in conditions favorable to healing.

Areas of Use

It is suitable for use in hospital, outpatient, and wound care settings, for example in the treatment of ulcers, pressure ulcers, and burns up to grade 2b. It can be removed with a sterile irrigation solution without irritating the wound.
