General information

MT10 is a tympanometer that allows for tympanometric assessments and ipsilateral reflex evaluations. It enables data storage via printing (optional printer) or transfer to a computer (optional software module).

The MT10 tympanometer is designed for use by audiologists, general practitioners, hearing aid dealers, and pediatric professionals.

The device performs two types of measurements:
1) tympanometry is used to measure the response of the tympanic membrane and the middle ear at a fixed frequency within a certain range of pressures.
2) reflex evaluations are used to measure stapedius reflexes. The MT10 measures ipsilateral reflexes and, if the option is selected, automatically performs a reflex measurement at the end of a tympanometry.

Objective Analysis
The automatic MT10 tympanometer is fast and easy to use and produces objective measurements that cannot be obtained with an otoscope alone.

Quick and Easy Tympanograms
Results can be obtained easily and quickly without requiring a response from the patient. This is a significant advantage in the case of patients who are difficult to manage or young children.

Clinical Application
The MT10 allows for the identification of otitis media (the primary cause of temporary or permanent hearing damage in children), tympanic perforation, cholesteatoma, and clear neurological disorders. It is also possible to monitor tympanostomy tubes and check results after medical treatments.

Ipsilateral Acoustic Reflexes
Four acoustic reflex tests can be conducted for each ear using a fixed or automatic intensity selection at 500, 1000, 2000, and 4000 Hz. The test is performed at the correct pressure level, and the actual characteristics of the reflex are displayed on the screen for the operator to read and interpret.

Memory for 30 Patients
The MT10 can store test results for up to 30 patients. This allows for the examination of a large patient group and subsequent printing of their data.

PC Integration (optional)
Data transfer to the PC via an optional infrared USB interface and software. Supplied with handle, disposable tip set (mixed sizes), and 4×1.5 V batteries, manual in GB, DE, FR, IT, ES, SE, GR, PT, DK, FI, CZ, PL, LT, EE, HU, NL, NO, IS, RO, MK.

Standard equipment
