Grey scale reproduction
Accurate grey scale reproduction is essential for achieving the correct tonal range in a printed image. Sony printers and print media have perfectly matched grey scales, ensuring the best possible image transfer quality.

Anti-static layer
Sony print media has an anti-static layer that prevents the build-up of electrostatic energy. Without this layer, electrostatic energy would accumulate, risking a spark that could destroy vital electronic components in the printer, particularly those in the thermal head.

Thermal head life
