The B. Braun Infusomat® Space is a transportable peristaltic infusion pump for the administration of small volumes of drugs, infusion and nutritional solutions.

Infusomat® Space meets all safety standards for electronic medical devices according to the IEC/EN 60601-1 and IEC/EN 60601-2-24 standards.
The system is intended for use in neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients for the intermittent or continuous administration of parenteral or enteral solutions via clinically appropriate routes of administration. Such routes include, but are not limited to, intravenous administration, irrigation/ablation, and enteral administration. The system is used for the administration of drugs intended for infusion therapy, including (but not limited to) colloids and crystalloids, blood and blood components, solutions for total parenteral nutrition (NPT), lipids and solutions for enteral administration.
Infusomat® Space can only be used by healthcare personnel trained in its correct use, in hospital, home, outpatient settings and on medical means of transport.
It can be used individually or in combination with the B. Braun Space system, designed to house the pumps of the Space family in an infusion station which provides for the power supply and data transmission, if provided, of the information on the infusion therapy.
