The Maxlite Flexi set is a fiber optic laryngoscope intended for endotracheal intubation. It includes a rechargeable F.O. handle, a McIntosh No. 3 blade with a movable tip, and the LED bulb. The movable tip facilitates lifting the epiglottis, improving the view of the glottic field even in challenging anatomical conditions.

Main advantages

The stainless steel construction with a matte finish and the viewing channel expand the visual area; the 4.5 mm optical beam with over 6,500 fibers and the LED lamp provide high light transmission (up to approximately 20,000 lux), reducing the required lever force and the risk of injury to the larynx and teeth.

The device is designed for professional use in emergency departments, operating rooms, intensive care, anesthesia outpatient clinics, and in emergency/ambulance services. It can also be used in out-of-hospital settings provided that the personnel are trained in intubation techniques and the relevant sterilization process.

Sterilization and maintenance: The blades are autoclavable at 134 °C for about 2,000 cycles and compatible with plasma sterilization (Sterrad 100 NX). The high-quality fibers ensure consistent performance over time; the use of C-type batteries or rechargeable batteries (not included) simplifies operational management.
